We are carefully monitoring the situation around the clock and following guidance from the World Health Organisation and other health authorities.
We always take seriously the cleanliness of our offices, workspaces and vehicles, and we know this is more important now than ever. We are implementing additional measures to clean and disinfect our offices, workspaces and vehicles, in alignment with guidance from health authorities. This includes routine cleaning with a recommended disinfectant of all frequently touched surfaces at our locations, such as computers, telephones, work surfaces door handles and bathrooms. We also have a very formal process in place that instructs all employees about the proper cleaning of vehicles. In particular focus, our procedures mandate a thorough cleaning and wiping of the interior with a recommended disinfectant. This includes the dashboard, instrument panel, steering column, wheel, accessory panel, centre console, cup holders, compartments, seats, between console and seats, between doors and seats, door and door pockets, among other areas that both our staff and customers come in to contact with. We are reinforcing continuously the importance of this process with our team member.
While we look forward to continuing to serve you during this time, we recognise some travel plans may change. To provide you with flexibility for these changes, we have extended our existing cancellation policy to include customers with pre-paid rentals booked directly through us a free amendment until such time travel plans can be completed.
The well being of our employees is also a top priority. We’re encouraging team members to follow NHS & World Health Organisation recommendations like frequent hand washing, as well as asking them to stay home if they are feeling ill. We are also implementing a staff rota to ensure that we are able to offer our assistance at all times while minimising the exposure of our staff & customers.
The well being of our customers is also a top priority. With this in mind were limiting the number of customers in our offices during completion of all paper works prior to collection of vehicles. Upon the customers return we are asking all customers to return their vehicles to our yard placing the keys on the windscreen prior to any vehicle checks commencing. Once all checks are complete and unless necessary we are asking all customers not to attend the office this includes deposit refunds and handing in check sheets. In the event you need to visit the office please observe a distance of 2 meters and no more than one person at a time (this includes staff members).
